Brent Aubin scores the eventual winner as Marlies win 3-1 over Hershey

HERSHEY, Penn. - Brent Aubin scored the eventual game-winner at 15:51 of the first period as the Toronto Marlies won 3-1 over the Hershey Bears Saturday in the American Hockey League.

Darryl Boyce added two assists on the night, while Bates Battaglia and Phil Oreskovic each scored singles for the North Division-leading Marlies (18-5-0-4).

Jay Beagle counted the lone Hershey (14-11-0-2) goal, a power-play marker at 5:14 of the third.

Toronto peppered the Bears with 42 shots, while backup Scott Clemmensen made 34 saves for the Marlies.

Hershey's Federic Cassivi made 39 saves.
