Bulldogs score twice in shootout to register 1-0 victory over Crunch

HAMILTON - Andreas Engqvist and Alexander Avtsin scored shootout goals to earn the Hamilton Bulldogs a 1-0 win over the Syracuse Crunch in AHL action Friday night.

Nick Bonino had the lone goal in the shootout for Syracuse.

Curtis Sanford stopped 22 shots for Hamilton (23-13-5).

J.P. Levasseur turned aside 46 shots for the Crunch (14-21-4), which completed a season-high seven-game road trip with a 3-3-1 record.
