I would just like to thank Brian Burke for bringing excitement to the hockey world off the ice.

Pulling the trigger on a blockbuster before the trade deadline is something that brings a smile to every hockey fan. It gets long waiting for the trade deadline before there can be a decent trade.

Hopefully the Phaneuf deal will inspire other GM's to do the same.
