Calgary Flames send Brad Ference and Carsen Germyn to AHL affiliate

Ference, 27, did not record a point in four games with the Flames this season.

In 249 career regular-season games with the Flames, Phoenix Coyotes and Florida Panthers, the six-foot-three 201-pound Calgary native has 34 points (4-30) and 565 penalty minutes.

Germyn, a 24-year-old from Campbell River, B.C., was held without a point in his only game with the Flames.

The five-foot-11, 190-pound right-winger has yet to record a point in three career NHL games with Calgary.
