Canada should keep it real

Publish date:

When Canada’s men’s and women’s hockey team take to the ice in 2010, it would be really nice to see them wear only our two national colors on their jerseys.

Last time I checked, our national flag didn't have any black on it, so why are we using it? Every other country that participates in international hockey uses the colors that represent their national flag.

The Detroit Red Wings jersey is nice; just replace the logo on front with a maple leaf with the word “Canada” below or above it, either way it would look great.

Let’s be a true nation when we're at home in 2010. Let’s wear only the red and white.
