Canadiens recall forwards Maxim Lapierre and Mikhail Grabovski

It is the third time this season that Lapierre, 21, has been recalled. In four games with the team, he collected four points including three goals. The six-foot-two, 197-pound centre from St-Leonard, Que., scored a goal in each of his last three games with the Canadiens, including the winner in a 5-2 victory in Buffalo on Dec. 19. In 32 games with the Bulldogs, Lapierre, a second-round draft pick (61st overall) in 2003, has nine goals and 12 assists.

Grabovski, 22, is playing in his first season in the AHL. The native of Potsdam, Germany, was third among Bulldogs' scorers with 28 points including 10 goals in 35 games. The five-foot-11, 183-pound forward was Montreal's fourth pick (150th overall) in 2004, and has yet to play a game in the NHL.
