Gone are forward Olivier Fortier to Rimouski and defencemen Yannick Weber to Kitchener, P.K. Subban to Belleville, Cameron Cepek to Edmonton, Sebastien Piche to Shawinigan and Mathieu Labrie to Acadie-Bathurst, as well as goaltender Andrew Loverock to Mississauga.

The Canadiens also announced the 20-man roster for their opening pre-season game against Pittsburgh on Monday night at the Bell Centre.

The roster includes NHL regulars Alex Kovalev, Andrei Markov, Mike Komisarek, Mark Streit, Tomas Plekanec, Garth Murray, Andrei Kostitsyn, Tom Kostopoulos and goalie Cristobal Huet, and several prospects.
