Charging for schedules is cheap

I would just like to say how shocked I am that, while the NHL always complains about how they can't expand the fan base in the United States, you would think they would go out of their way to promote their product.

I’ve recently called most NHL teams to request 2008 pocket schedules. While most are accommodating, it is puzzling teams such as Phoenix, Washington and Nashville will not send any unless you, the fan, send them a SASE and pay for the postage.

I can't believe they will pay players millions of dollars to play, but will not even spend the price of a stamp to provide a service to those of us who pay those salaries.

It shows me the NHL still does not get it.
