Chicago Blackhawks sign goalie Patrick Lalime to one-year contract

The veteran goalie has signed a one-year contract to stay with the team. Lalime appeared in 12 games for the Blackhawks last season and had a 4-5-1 record with one shutout.

He missed the early part of the season with a back injury before joining AHL Norfolf for a conditioning stint.

The 32-year-old has appeared in 365 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, Ottawa, St. Louis and the Blackhawks.
