Chris Stewart scores in overtime as Monsters defeat Moose 5-4

CLEVELAND - Chris Stewart scored in overtime as the Lake Erie Monsters beat the Manitoba Moose 5-4 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

The overtime goal came after Brad Moran had tied the game form Manitoba with less than a minute left in regulation.

Wes O'Neill, Mark McCutcheon, David Jones and Mark Rycroft scored in regulation for Lake Erie (5-11-0-2). Johnny Boychuk added two assists.

Greg Classen, with two goals and an assist, and Hansen scored for Manitoba (12-6-2-0). Mason Raymond and Michael Grabner each added two assists.

Jason Bacashihua was outstanding for Lake Erie, making 42 saves.

Cory Schneider stopped 34 shots for Manitoba.
