Columbus Blue Jackets announce 1-year contract for centre Cody Bass

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Centre Cody Bass has signed a one-year deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The 24-year-old Bass was scoreless in one game for the Ottawa Senators last season. He had six goals and nine assists in 58 games with the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators. He won the Yanick Dupre Memorial Award as the AHL's Man of the Year.
