Columbus Blue Jackets assign right wing Mike Blunden to Springfield of AHL

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned right-winger Mike Blunden to their Springfield affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Blunden was added to Columbus' roster on emergency recall on Nov. 11. He has two goals and two assists and 69 penalty minutes in 51 career NHL games.

He has seven goals and five assists in 13 games with Springfield this season.
