Cullen scores shootout winner as Syracuse defeats Toronto 3-2

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - David Cullen scored the shootout winner as the Syracuse Crunch beat the Toronto Marlies 3-2 in AHL action Wednesday.

Mark Rycroft and Derick Brassard scored in regulation for Syracuse (37-26-2-6). Karl Goehring made 39 saves for the Crunch.

Bryan Muir and Jay Harrison responded for Toronto (43-18-3-6).

Scott Clemmensen stopped 17 shots in goal for the Marlies.
