I am filled with so much emotion and joy after watching my beloved Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup.

Thanks to Rocky Wirtz and the great job he and the front office did to build this championship team. This team will look very different next year, but in your competent hands, I know they will continue to be successful.

I also want to thank the Flyers, a scrappy, never-say-die bunch that should hold their heads up high and be proud of all they accomplished. They gave the Blackhawks all they could handle and helped to make this one of the most entertaining Stanley Cups in recent memory.
