Dallas Stars recall goalie Tobias Stephan from Iowa of American Hockey League

DALLAS - The Dallas Stars recalled goaltender Tobias Stephan from Iowa of the American Hockey League on Monday.

They made roster room by assigning right-winger Konstantin Pushkarev to the AHL club.

Stephan stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss in his NHL debut Oct. 13 at Chicago. In 60 games with Iowa, the 24-year-old Swiss native went 27-25-2 with a 2.65 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and six shutouts.

The 23-year-old Pushkarev came to Dallas in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings. In 45 games in Iowa, the six-foot, 190-pound Kazakh scored 13 goals and 26 assists for 39 points with 43 penalty minutes.
