DALLAS - The Dallas Stars placed defenceman Mattias Norstrom on the injured list on Friday and brought up defenceman Mark Fistric from the Iowa Stars, their AHL affiliate.

Norstrom sustained a small fracture of his orbital bone in a game on Nov. 7 and hasn't played since. His condition will be evaluated in two weeks. The move is retroactive to Nov. 9.

Norstrom, 35, has played in 852 NHL games with Dallas and the Los Angeles Kings. The Stars acquired him in a trade with the Kings on Feb. 27.

The 21-year-old Fistric played in 15 games for Iowa this season and will be making his NHL debut.
