Daren Machesney shines in net as Manitoba Moose beat San Antonio Rampage 3-1

SAN ANTONIO - Manitoba goaltender Daren Machesney stopped 35 of 36 shots as the Moose beat the San Antonio Rampage 3-1 Saturday night in American Hockey League action.

The Moose avenged a 4-0 loss to the Rampage a night earlier at the AT&T Centre.

Nolan Baumgartner, Matt Pettinger and Guillaume Desbiens, into an empty net, all scored for the Moose (30-26-6).

Kyle Turris scored his 16th goal of the season for San Antonio (26-25-9) in the first period before the Moose did all their scoring in the third.

Rampage goalie Josh Tordjman stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced.
