Darren Helm has four points as Grand Rapids pounds Toronto 7-1

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Darren Helm had two goals and two assists as the Grand Rapids Griffins hammered the Toronto Marlies 7-1 on Wednesday.

Evan McGrath and Mark O'Leary also had two goals while Jimmy Horward made 34 saves for the Griffins (27-31-2-5). Garrett Stafford added a single for Grand Rapids.

Jay Harrison replied for Toronto (38-18-3-5), which continues to lead the Eastern Conference.

Marlies goalies Justin Pogge and Scott Clemmensen combined to make 23 saves.
