You can scratch Michael Raffl off the list of potential trade candidates ahead of Monday’s trade deadline.

The Flyers have inked the forward to a three-year extension. According to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, the deal carries an annual average value of $2.35 million.

Raffl has eight goals and nine assists while averaging 14:17 of time on ice per-game in 61 contests this season.

The 6-foot, 195-pound forward gives the Flyers versatility up front as he has played all three forward positions this season.

The 27-year-old would’ve become an unrestricted free agent this summer as his two-year, $2.2 million contract was set to expire.

Raffl, an undrafted, free-agent signing by the Flyers in May 2013, has appeared in 196 games with Philadelphia over parts of three seasons scoring 38 goals and 67 points.
