Forward Tyler Kennedy signs two-year deal with Pittsburgh Penguins

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Penguins are holding on to Tyler Kennedy.

The forward signed a $4-million, two-year contract with the only NHL team he's ever played for.

The 24-year-old had 45 points (21-24) in 80 games for the Penguins last season.

In 266 career NHL games, Kennedy has 59 goals and 124 points.

He was part of Pittsburgh's Stanley Cup victory in 2009.
