Gaborik scores two and Legace solid in goal to lead Wild over Blackhawks 3-0

The Wild, who entered the NHL in 2000-01, posted a franchise-record fourth straight road win. Minnesota has also won four of its last five overall.

Gaborik extended his point-scoring streak to five games, with seven goals and an assist during the span. Friday's game was his seventh after missing 34 with a strained groin.

Fernandez wasn't heavily tested in recording his 13th career shutout.

The Blackhawks, 0-6-2 in their last eight overall, also lost dropped to 0-5-2 in their last seven at home. Chicago last won the United Center, 2-1 over Dallas, on Dec. 26.

Brian Boucher made 23 saves in his first start since Dec. 9 for Chicago, which is 1-8-2 in its last 11. Nikolai Khabibulin, the Blackhawks' top goalie, made 19 straight starts.
