Gajic scores shootout winner to lift Moose over the Monsters, 2-1

WINNIPEG - Milan Gajic scored the decisive shootout winner to lift the Manitoba Moose over the Lake Erie Monsters 2-1 Saturday night in the American Hockey League.

Manitoba's Colby Genoway scored his eighth of the year in regulation, a power-play marker at 10:46 of the first.

Johnny Boychuk tied it for Lake Erie (8-14-1-3) with less than five minutes left in the third.

Despite the loss, Mike Wall was solid in net for the Monsters, stopping 26 of 27 shots.

Goalie Cory Schneider delivered a 14-save performance for the Moose (14-9-2-1).
