First Hockey Memory: "I really don't know what's my first - let's put pond hockey when I was little in my hometown in the winter. Just went with my parents and sister. That's some nice memories. We were playing outside."

Hockey Inspirations: "I never had one player idol. I always looked up to all the players and all the videos. I remember it was called NHL Power Week - a TV show here. And we'd record on TV and watch it later for next few years."

Greatest Sports Moment(s): "There's a few. Winning the Memorial Cup in juniors. Then winning Calder Cup in AHL. My first NHL game. My first NHL goal. A lot of good memories."

Most Painful Moment: "Probably last season. It was my first not really good season. Before that I always had a good season. So it had to come. When you ask me that season it's always what I think. So probably last season for me."

Current Car: "Audi A7 (silver/gray)."

Favorite Sport Outside Hockey: "Soccer."

Three Athletes You Like To Watch & Follow: "I don't really follow any athlete. I follow Messi and Ronaldo on Instagram. But it's not like I follow every game and how many goals they scored."

Funniest Players Encountered: "There's so many that I really can't remember one."

Strangest Game: "Playing in the AHL and it was Dog Night. So you look up in the stands and see a dog. Singing the national anthem and dogs are just barking [smiles]."

Favorite Uniforms: "Anaheim Ducks -- 100 percent. They are my favorite. The old jersey the old logo."

Favorite Rink(s) To Play: "Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. Lot of good memories there."

Last Book Read: "I'm just starting a new book. It's something to do with the mindset but I don't know the exact title."

Most Memorable Goal: "For me the first NHL goal would probably be the one I appreciate the most but I think one of the really memorable goals was the Calder Cup semi final we played in OK (Oklahoma) City, Game 7. A few minutes left - tied game - and I kind of went all the way down ice with the puck and scored. And we won that game so we went to the finals. So it was a good goal."

People Qualities Most Admired: "I hate selfish people. That's a quality I hate. But other than that just being nice and kind. I don't know. I can't really answer it. Or put it in English. But I just don't like selfish people."
