Guillaume Latendresse signs three-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens

The Canadiens say the 19-year-old winger is under contract through the 2008-09 season.

Latendresse has five points, including a team-high three goals, in six pre-season games with the team.

Canadiens coach Guy Carbonneau said earlier this week that Latendresse would remain with the team the entire season if he made the opening-day roster.

Latendresse is a native of Ste-Catherine, Que.
