NHL-Suspended F Scott Nichol five games for an incident involving Montreal D Patrice Brisebois in a Dec. 1 game. Suspended Philadelphia F Riley Cote three games for being assessed a match penalty for attempt to injure during a Dec. 1 game against Dallas.

ATLANTA THRASHERS-Reassigned D Scott Lehman from Gwinnett (ECHL) to Chicago (AHL).

CALGARY FLAMES-Recalled D Adam Pardy from Quad City (AHL).

COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS-Recalled LW Joakim Lindstrom from Syracuse (AHL). Assigned G Tomas Popperle to Syracuse.
