Iginla, Sykora, Vokoun named NHL's three stars of the week

NEW YORK - Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla was named the NHL's first star of the week on Monday.

He led all scorers with eight points (5-3) in four games. Iginla's goal against St. Louis on March 10 moved him past Theoren Fleury into first place in franchise history.

Pittsburgh Penguins winger Petr Sykora was named second star while Florida Panthers goalie Tomas Vokoun was given the third star.

Sykora recorded six points (3-3) in two games. He scored the game-winning goal in both games.

Vokoun posted a 3-0-0 record with a 1.67 goals-against average and .946 save percentage as the Panthers extended their winning streak to a franchise-tying seven games.
