Jason Jaffray scored two goals as Manitoba Moose defeat Iowa Stars 4-3

DES MOINES, Iowa - Jason Jaffray scored two goals, including the go-ahead marker in the third period as the Manitoba Moose edged the Iowa Stars 4-3 Tuesday night AHL action.

Jaffray scored his ninth of the season on the power play in the second period to put the Moose up 2-1, and netted his second of the game at 6:34 in the third to give Manitoba the victory.

Jannik Hansen and Michael Grabner also scored for Manitoba, who move to 14-7-2, putting them a point back of Toronto for first place in the North Division.

Iowa (12-11-1) had goals from Paul Szczechura, Junior Lessard and B.J. Crombeen.

Drew MacIntyre shined in net, stopping 39 of 42 shots for Manitoba, while Tobias Stephan blocked 21 of 25 shots for the Stars.
