Jason Krog, Jared Ross score as Chicago Wolves edge Hamilton Bulldogs 2-1

HAMILTON - Jason Krog and Jared Ross each scored for the Chicago Wolves in a 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs in American Hockey League play Saturday.

After a scoreless first period, Krog scored 3:26 into the second on the power play to put Chicago up by one.

Ross gave the Wolves (12-13-1) the lead for good near the end of the period when Spencer Machacek's shot re-directed off Ross past Bulldogs (14-6-4) goaltender Curtis Sanford.

Wolves goalie Peter Mannino had his shutout bid broken three minutes into the third after being beat by Max Pacioretty.

Mannino finished with 33 saves, while Sanford stopped 26 shots.
