ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- Miikka Kiprusoff and the Calgary

Flames appear to have put their slow start behind them.

The Flames go for their seventh straight win when they visit the

Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

Kiprusoff, who allowed 22 goals in his first five games, has

surrendered just nine tallies over the six-game winning streak.

The former Vezina Trophy winner made 34 saves on Saturday as

Calgary posted a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.

Daymond Langkow scored the game-winner with 3:37 remaining.

It is the Flames' longest winning streak since Calgary won eight

straight from November 1-16, 2005.

The Ducks, who snapped the Detroit Red Wings' five-game winning

streak on Wednesday, are coming off a wild, 7-6 shootout loss to

Vancouver. The game featured five goals in a 2:39 span during

the second period and ended in the 13th round of the bonus

format.

Anaheim won three of the four meetings between the teams last

season.
