Knee surgery planned for Columbus Blue Jackets forward Alexandre Picard

The winger, who had one assist in 23 games with the Blue Jackets this season, tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments while playing in an American Hockey League game with the Syracuse Crunch last Friday.

Picard was drafted eighth overall by the Blue Jackets in 2004.
