Leafs defenceman Bryan McCabe undergoes surgery; out 6-to-8 weeks

TORONTO - Defenceman Bryan McCabe of the Toronto Maple Leafs had surgery on his left hand Monday and will be out six to eight weeks.

McCabe sustained the injury, three broken bones in his left hand, during Saturday's loss at Montreal. Defenceman Anton Stralman was recalled from the AHL's Toronto Marlies. He had 11 assists in 21 AHL games this season.
