Lecavalier, Reinprecht and Roenick named NHL's three stars of week

NEW YORK - Tampa Bay Lightning centre Vincent Lecavalier, Phoenix Coyotes forward Steven Reinprecht and San Jose Sharks winger Jeremy Roenick are the NHL's three stars of the week.

Lecavalier took the first star honours after he tied for the league lead for the week with eight points (2-6) as the Lightning won three of four games. He's now for third overall in NHL scoring with 24 points (9-15).

Reinprecht, the second star, scored four goals with three assists to help the Coyotes win two of their three games.

Roenick, the third star, recorded points in each of San Jose's three games, including his 500th career goal against Phoenix on Nov. 10. He is the 40th player and third American to reach the plateau.
