Marlies take advantage of power play to beat QEW rival Bulldogs 4-1

Alex Foster scored twice, while Staffan Kronwall added a goal and an assist to lead Toronto (31-36-2-4). Brett Engelhardt rounded out the scoring for the Marlies.

Corey Locke scored the lone goal for Hamilton (40-25-3-5).

The Marlies capitalized on an effective power play going 3-for-7, while Hamilton struggled with the man advantage going 0-for-7.

Bulldogs starting goalie Philippe Sauve took the loss stopping 22 of 25 shots, while Yann Danis made 7 saves on 8 shots in second period relief.

Marlies goalkeeper Justin Pogge made 20 saves on 21 shots for the win.
