What have you done the past two years to adjust to the extra minutes you're playing?

- Michael Scoular, Vancouver

In the off-season I train as hard as I can to try and ensure I come to training camp in the best shape possible. This has helped me play the minutes I do throughout the season.

You're always playing against the other team's superstars. Which forward in the Western Conference is the hardest to defend against?

- Greg Whelpley, Lethbridge, Alta.

Jarome Iginla is a very complete player. He is very skilled, has speed and strength.

Who was your favorite player growing up in Sweden?

- Rick Tarte, Windsor, Ont.

Growing up my favorite player was Borje Salming. He was one of the first European players to really make a name for himself in the NHL.

Which opposing team has the least predictable offense?

- Mitchell Bedford, Chatham, Ont.

San Jose has four line that can score. They have so many skilled forwards that they are difficult to play against.

What skills and qualities do you like in a defensive partner?

- Jeffery Dowling, Medicine Hat, Alta.

In a defensive partner, communication is very important. To me it is the most important part of being partners. I also like playing with someone who can play both offence and defense.

What has been your biggest non-hockey accomplishment in life so far?

- Catherine Li, Burnaby, B.C.

Away from the game of hockey I am most proud of raising my two kids with my wife.
