Mercier, Bartlett and Hensick lead Monsters attack in 6-3 win over Toronto

CLEVELAND - Justin Mercier, Mike Bartlett and T.J. Hensick each had a goal and an assist in a balanced Monsters attack as Lake Erie doubled up the Toronto Marlies 6-3 on Friday in the AHL.

Matthew Ford, Marty Sertich and Travis Gawryletz also had goals for the Monsters, with Tyler Weiman backstopping the victory with 23 saves on 26 shots. Darren Haydar contributed two assists for Lake Erie (22-21-4).

Viktor Stalberg and Greg Scott each had a goal and an assist for the Marlies. Christian Hanson also scored for Toronto (17-21-9).

Marlies netminders Joey MacDonald and Andrew Engelage combined for 43 saves.
