Mike Keane leads Moose past Aeros 4-3 in AHL season opener for both clubs

WINNIPEG - Mike Keane had a goal and an assist for Manitoba as the Moose held on for a 4-3 win over the Houston Aeros in the American Hockey League opener for both clubs Friday.

Pierre-Cedric Labrie, Marco Rosa and Marty Murray also scored for Manitoba (1-0-0-0). Andy Hilbert and Colton Gillies, with a goal and an assist each, led the way for Houston (0-1-0-1).

Robbie Earl had the other goal for the Aeros.

Cory Schneider stopped 21 shots for the win, while Wade Dubielewicz made 21 saves in defeat.
