Mogilny belongs in the Hall

Thank you for the piece about Alexander Mogilny in the June 8 issue.

Of the four NHL jerseys hanging in my closet, two have Mogilny's No. 89 on the back. Mogilny's career was a career of firsts. I recall touring the old Aud in Buffalo and being told how he was the first Russian captain of a NHL team.

He never was a campaigner in the press, which will hurt his chances for induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame, but his hardware and numbers certainly merit his inclusion, sooner rather than later.
