Murray deserves Jack Adams

St. Louis Blues coach Andy Murray should receive the Jack Adams award as NHL coach of the year.

Prior to the start of the season the Blues were projected to finish 15th in the West and around 30th in the entire league. And that was

Oh, yes, and their starting goaltender, Manny Legace, did not work out and was waived and replaced mid-season.

In spite of all this adversity, the Blues have shown great character and determination and have climbed from the cellar of the Western Conference to sixth place in the West.

Also, by the end of the regular season their penalty kill was third in the league and their power play eight.

What more can you say? Thanks Andy Murray and good luck in the playoffs.
