Niklas Grossman signs two-year, $3.25-million contract with Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars have signed 25-year-old defenseman Niklas Grossman to a two-year, $3.25 million contract.

The cap hit will be $1.625 million.

The native of Stockholm, Sweden was a second round pick (56th overall) by Dallas in 2004 and tallied seven assists in 71 games with the club last season. The 6-foot-3, 206-pound defensive defenseman has two goals and 26 points in 222 career NHL games.
