Watching a recent home game for the New Jersey Devils, I think that they missed a great opportunity when constructing their new arena.

I noticed the empty seats and thought that rather than the plain old fabric used on the seat backs, the team should have had installed ones that looked like their home/road jerseys placed randomly throughout the arena, that way the place would look more full than it actually is.

I think that any new arena should do that for their team, and that way Gary Bettman can pump up the attendance numbers even more than he does now.
