Anaheim's two Norris Trophy-winning defencemen, Chris Pronger and Scott Niedermayer, also scored to help the Ducks improve their NHL-best record to 27-4-6. The win was Giguere's 23rd of the season, also a league high, and he's 11-1 in his last 12 starts.

Perry made a fine play in the slot to score his second goal of the game and 11th of the season. He picked up the loose puck near the right circle, skated to his left, stopped, whirled and fired a wrist shot over goalie Marty Turco's left shoulder to give Anaheim a 3-1 lead 13 seconds into the second.

Niedermayer added a power-play goal at 16:39 to give Anaheim a three-goal advantage.
