Phoenix Coyotes sign defenceman Adrian Aucoin to one-year deal

PHOENIX - The Phoenix Coyotes added more veteran presence to their blue-line.

They signed defenceman Adrian Aucoin to a US$2.25-million, one-year contract on Thursday.

Aucoin spent the past two years with the Calgary Flames, putting up 10 goals and 34 points in 81 games last year.

It will be the sixth NHL team for Aucoin, who turns 36 on Friday.

The former Vancouver Canuck has scored 108 goals and 336 points in 851 career NHL games.
