PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Washington Capitals have revenge on

their mind.

The Capitals will also look for their sixth straight win

Saturday when they face the Philadelphia Flyers, who eliminated

Washington from the playoffs last season.

After overcoming a three-games-to-one deficit during the Eastern

Conference quarterfinals, the Capitals suffered a 3-2 loss in

Game Seven when Joffrey Lupul scored a power-play goal 6:06 into

overtime.

Washington, which made an improbable worst-to-first run last

campaign, is off to a great start this season. The Capitals,

who are coming off a 4-2 victory over the Blues on Thursday, are

already starting to pull away in the Southeast Division.

Viktor Kozlov scored two goals and set up another Thursday for

Washington, which has won seven of its last eight contests.

The Montreal Canadiens, who were eliminated by the Flyers in the

Eastern Conference semifinals last year, received a measure of

revenge Thursday. Arron Asham had a goal and assist, but

Philadelphia had its five-game winning streak snapped with a 5-2

loss.

After hosting the Capitals, the Flyers will play seven of their

next eight contests on the road.
