Red Wings Jimmy Howard leaves game after Maple Leafs' Joffrey Lupul falls on him

DETROIT - Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard left the Red Wings' game against Toronto 6:11 into the third period after the Maple Leafs' Joffrey Lupul fell on him.

Howard was helped off the ice by trainer Piet Van Zant.

Lupul scored on the play to tie it 2-2.
