Red Wings' Zetterberg leaves game with upper-body injury after hit by Ohlund

DETROIT - Detroit centre Henrik Zetterberg left the Red Wings' game Thursday night against Tampa Bay late in the first period because of an upper-body injury.

Zetterberg was helped off with 1:43 left in the period after taking a check from Mattias Ohlund. Zetterberg was on the ice on his hands and knees before being helped off.

Detroit is already without Johan Franzen, Valtteri Filppula, Jason Williams, Niklas Kronwall, Dan Cleary, Darren Helm and Jonathan Ericsson because of injuries.

Zetterberg has 10 goals and 22 assists in 34 games to lead the team in scoring.
