Rochester Americans beat Toronto Marlies 4-3 in a shootout

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Michal Repik scored the decisive goal in the shootout for the Rochester Americans in their 4-3 shootout win over the Toronto Marlies in American Hockey League play Friday.

Jamie Johnson, with a goal and an assist, Jeff Taffe and Chris Taylor scored in regulation for Rochester (44-32-3). Jordan Henry added two assists.

Andre Deveaux had a goal and an assist for Toronto (32-34-12), while Ryan Hamilton and Josh Engel also scored.

The Marlies trailed 3-1 after the first period but stormed back with two goals early in the third from Hamilton and Deveaux to tie things.

Alexander Salak made 32 saves to pick up the win for the Americans, while James Reimer stopped 35 shots, including eight in overtime, in the loss for Toronto.

Both clubs finished 0-for-3 on the power play.
