ROCKFORD, Ill. - Aaron Rome's third-period goal stood up as the winner in the Manitoba Moose's 4-3 victory over the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday afternoon in AHL hockey.

Sergei Shirokov opened the scoring while Brian Salcido, Guillaume Desbiens and Rome all notched power-play goal.

Moose goaltender Cory Schneider stopped 21 of 24 shots for his 12th win this season.

At 16:50 the Moose opened the scoring when Marco Rosa, from behind the net, centred the puck for Shirokov who wired the puck into the mesh for the game's first lead.
