Sandford makes 22 saves, leads Bulldogs to 4-0 win over Rampage

HAMILTON, Ont. - Curtis Sanford made 22 saves Wednesday as the Hamilton Bulldogs won their fifth American Hockey League game in a row, 4-0 over the San Antonio Rampage.

Brock Trotter, Mike Glumac, P.K. Subban and David Desharnais provided the offence for the Bulldogs (32-12-7).

Hamilton opened the scoring at 11:14 of the first period. Tom Desharnais fed the puck across the crease to Trotter, who flipped a shot over San Antonio goaltender Josh Tordjman.

Hamilton went up 2-0 at 1:18 of the second period. Subban fired a shot from the point that bounced off the leg of a San Antonio defender and onto the stick of Glumac, who put the puck through Tordjman's pads.

Subban gave Hamilton a 3-0 lead at 9:56 of the second. Trotter fed a cross-ice pass to Desharnais, who wired a shot on net that was stopped by Tordjman. Subban stuffed the loose rebound beneath Tordjman and over the goal-line.

Desharnais scored at 3:08 of the third period to cap the scoring. Trotter dished the puck to Deshanrais, who was stationed at the right faceoff circle. Desharnais rifled a shot over the glove of Tordjman and into the top of the net.

Tordjman made 22 saves for San Antonio (20-20-8).
