TORONTO - Shae-Lynn Bourne and Patrice Brisebois are staying in CBC TV's Battle of the Blades.

The two had to skate against Violetta Afanasieva and P.J. Stock to join the competition next week.

The judging panel, including guest judge Curtis Joseph, voted Monday that Bourne and Brisebois’s choreography earned them a spot back in the competition.

The other four pairs performing next week are: Isabelle Brasseur and Todd Warriner, Katia Gordeeva and Valeri Bure, Jamie Sale and Theo Fleury, and Kyoko Ina and Kelly Chase.
