Sharks eye fourth straight win

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks picked up

right where they left off at the All-Star break.

San Jose goes for its fourth straight win when it hosts the

Phoenix Coyotes on Thursday.

Boasting the league's best record, the Sharks blanked the

Colorado Avalanche, 3-0, on Tuesday in their first game in a

week.

Evgeni Nabokov made 31 saves and Milan Michalek scored a pair of

goals to lead San Jose, which is opening a three-game homestand.

The Sharks are 22-1-2 at home this season.

Phoenix was pounded in its first game after the break, dropping

a 7-3 contest to Anaheim.

Shane Doan tallied twice for the Coyotes, who have allowed 26

goals in their last six contests.

The Pacific Division rivals have split their first two meetings

this season - both of which taking place in at Phoenix.
